Winter! Somewhere in my head it made sense for Winter to be pregnant and Spring to be a new mother. This part of my head evidently won out. Spring started out being a great deal more colourful than this, but I kept wanting her to be earthy and eventually gave in. Baby fists!

And Charity grows up! This character's been around for four years now, which is quite an achievement, I think, all things considered. The Charity I thought up four years ago is a little different to the Charity in my head now, though, so her profile's just been rewritten, and she's all tanned and has short hair and is twenty-two, and a doll was needed! So here she is. Accusatory finger and all.

Toga! A befreckled young Roman-Egyptian (Alexandrian?) woman... wearing her father's clothes, I presume.

Statues. Are. So. Fun. I'd like to think that this is Ariadne. Ariadne might balk, but still! ..... My first doll after a year's hiatus! The Victorian Underworld definitely had something to do with this. She makes a cameo in the Fantasy section because of her waist, or lack thereof, which looks painful.

Pip and Char are now older, prettier... and she has short hair. Worth a mini-painting? Yes, please! My first attempt at a digital anything in more than a year.

Charity Smythe and Phillip Turner - TDG

The Queen of Spades. This one was bugging me to be made for a couple of days, so I decided to give in, and this is what I got. A kind of pseudo-Tudor monarch with Mrs. Lovett hair?

A Cortigiana Onesta from 16th-century Venice. This was my first doll after six months of hiatus! So I consider her a bit of a miracle, especially since making her was the first time I enjoyed using Katerina.

Aaaanne! I got all inspired rewatching Anne of the Thousand Days. The cloak/dressing gown is completely anachronistic and there should be flaps covering her hair, but I'm lazy and I... like hair.

How long has it been since I dolled Charity? AGES. In honour of pirate month, she is wearing Phillip's jacket - yes, it is pink - and his hat. Because it's fun to annoy him that way.
